The story has a lot going for it. But the guy reading it.... My God. It sounds like an infomercial. Wayyy to stiff and official.

Terrible story line unworthy of Jon Ryan

Seriously disappointed with this whole story. The narrator, Scott, was brilliant as usual.
But gods? Rediculous powers? Give us a break. This was an attempt to drag out the Jon Ryan story line and had nothing more challenging than the Adamant. So far, everything has basically been in a world where everything is scientificly based, even if it's lose. You just completely gave all that ground work the middle finger and suddenly we're talking to dead souls? Trips to hell? Gods? Get stuffed.
And where's the character development? This whole story was just going through the motions. Sapael is a repetitive miserable aggressive git. Tonio is a miserable, repetitive boring git. I mean cmon! They're 2 billion years old, Ryan has saved their lives countless times and they still doubt him? Still act like he's an idiot? What a load of rubbish! And what about Al and Blessing! Where were they, apart from simply filling in the gaps? Al is literally Jon's oldest companion, has previously told him he's the best human he's ever known and then despite Jon rescuing him and leading him to Blessing, there's absolutely no development in their relationship. Develop. Your. Characters!

This whole story sucked. Better to leave the Jon Ryan universe dead than to just make up utter garbage for the sake of returning to it.

So Monotonous!

The story itself is really interesting and a wonderful original take, even if it's quite a depressing world. But the narrator! Oh my God, she just goes on and on and on in the same tone. Perhaps it's meant to express the unsettling life of the main character, stuck in something that it seems she will never escape, but gosh, this is Audible. The stories are meant to be heard! Give it some personality! I was actually really enticed by her voice when it first began, thinking here we go, she's expressive and we should get some good emotion. Nup. Just that dead boring constant drone. Deleted.

Absolutely the most detailed and thorough look into the life and mind of Ted Bundy while the narrator expertly delivers the authors story.

Ted Bundy was a man who killed many women and, through his own deterioration, assisted in his own death sentence. The thing I find most frightening about Ted Bundy, is the fact he was only caught due to a few wrong decisions he made at crucial moments. Running from police instead of remaining calm. Running into the mountains instead of stealing a car immediately. Using credit cards and leaving a trail. It's only due to a few isolated events, where he picked the wrong reaction to his own detriment that resulted in his eventual capture.

He really was a monster hidden in plain site. This book is incredible at capturing all that, but it also makes you wonder... Just how many are out there who have learnt from the likes of Bundy?

Fantastic expansion into an ever growing world. Captures the essence of terror that the Xenomorph should, yet is just slightly different to accurately portray how the Aliens are different according to their original hosts.
