Worth it. it's very well done, you don't need to read the other books to understand what's going.

Five Star really? This must get really good after the first few hours because this book made me take up drinking and meth, although It was focus around the Blue Mage character who is a star of cringy slap stick comedy so maybe It was a reading a soap-opera that caused it? Make no mistake it is a COMEDY - Fantasy story, comedy first and not smart, intelligent but one that is aims low. The Fantasy is just the setting and environment just a room has blue walls (exciting and full of pink batts installation (hopefully)). Anyway the Main character who I think was the blue mage as most of time was centred around him was un-bearable and I ready did stop listening to book after few hours because of him. So, it may get better half way through, but I think taking up meth was a better use of my time.

First off, I only got half way before the book lost my interest which is a bad sign. It may get better soon after but if I can manage to put the book down and not care to pick it up again the book has failed. Given this a less picky reader might enjoy this more then me although there are few problems with the book that a read should know before they choose to read it. Positives? In short the first 1-2 hours of the book was good, interest ideas, setting, world, fine characters and a promise of some a simple but fun story. My Issues with the book. The plot/story didn’t evolve the first ~6 hours are spent in a forest I originally was ok with this as “training/learning the ropes” situation but when the plot did evolve it then just as quickly retreated to the forest. I quickly realise that I wanted the Story to start going somewhere and the whole thing went downhill pretty fast. The main character is Stupid at points delusional. This was alright with the other characters counter balancing this and kept anything to stupid from happening but theses character leave or move on. Leaving the character alone, she became similar to something a 12-year-old would call a good/fun character. I know that the antics of the main character are meant to be from steers and trauma, but it didn’t come off as it at all just her become more delusional and childish. I couldn’t stand her anymore and the new characters weren’t strong enough to keep her stupidity from running the plot of the story. What about the world? After being in a forest for 4 hours of the story and finally leaving by ACCIDENT however there wasn’t really any new or interest that got dropped on me…. Just turned more and more into a bad RPG flick. I really can’t think of anything more to add this is all I remember of the book. Still maybe the book isn’t for me, given all the “amazing” ratings. 1/5 – Wikipedia has some interest articles to read
