I found this book disappointing. Listening to Vicki just really annoyed me. Her story just went on and on and she started to irritate me to the point that I kept skipping over her section. I enjoyed listening to Scarlet and wished it had been just about her.

I always love Michael Robotham although this was the first audiobook I’ve heard of his. I just lived it from start to finish. The narrator sounded just how I imagined Joseph O’Laughlin would . I adore this character and wish I could find my own Joseph even if he does attract trouble.
Such a great story that keeps you guessing.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It took me a few chapters to get used to the narrator’s voice and follow all the characters.
The only part I was disappointed in ( bit of a spoiler alert) was the wife’s lack of internal and crippling physical injuries.
Otherwise great story with some really sad moments

I found the information well paced and in a good sequence.
I felt more knowledge at the end

When you listen to this audiobook, you will make many assumptions. It's about a jealous wife obsessed with her replacement. It's about a younger woman set to marry the man she loves. The first wife seems like a disaster; her replacement is the perfect woman. You will assume you know the motives, the history, the anatomy of the relationships. You will be wrong.

I couldn’t put this book down...so to speak for the first section. I found the first surprise a great bit of writing. I normally pick twists early on but this one fooled me. I was actually glad .
The book then kind of lost it way and dragged. I just wanted to scream at the main character. It ended way too happily ever after and that last twist was just too silly .
Also what the F ever happened to Duke?

I really enjoy this series. I find the main character Robyn- a hopeless detective, as I solved the crime 1/2 way through- I’d definitely want Shearer on my case. I enjoy the team of characters and the feel. I do worry about her cat though as it’s time spent alone. I also get annoyed when at the start of the book it repeats Robyn’s past and backstory .

This was a brave idea... to write the whole book from someone in a comas point of view. Problem is listening to it almost puts you in a coma of your own. So many chapters that just ramble on with no real connection to the story. The ending had a good, if unrealistic twist. I also liked the honesty of the ending.

I really enjoyed this author in girl comes back or something like that. This book however drove me insane. So much so that I went from chapter 8 to the last 3 chapters just to see how it ended. The author describes every detail down to how the phone charger cord is kept in the glove box and how it was a gift from her husband....blah blah blah...I don’t care. The main character- Rose- would have to be one of the most annoying self centered whiny people that if I was her husband I’d want to leave her as well.
