This is the second book in the series and I enjoyed this one even more than the first one. The story draws you in and keeps you engaged. THE characters are sympathetic with enough flaws to make them interesting. The villians are intelligent and evil. I love that not all the protagonists are portrayed in the same light and we get a glimpse into the motivation behind the villians. Thoroughly enjoyable!

The heroines of the Badger series are all engaging, quirky, a little psychopathic, and always amusing. Charlotte Kane's naration of this audiobook captures the nuances and characterizations perfectly. I love this author and narrator - it's a perfect combination. I can't wait for the next audiobook in the series.

I love Nalin Singh's stories, her characters are engaging, humorous and well developed. I am a huge fan! I did however have a small problem with the naration. Ms O'Keef reads well but her accents are atrocious and distracting. I found it hard to lose myself in the story due to this. It is very grating . Ms O'Keef's narration is otherwise fine - just loose the accented characterizations please. : )
