Loved this...such a happy bio of a time in Nina's earlier life. Cookie, crazy, innocent fun times working as nanny to literary editor MK Wilmers...with a lovely smattering of national treasure -Alan Bennett

Emily strikes a beautiful balance -protraying the oft madness of the journalist life and its significant impact on family life. She doesn't sugar coat her recollections of interviews, reports , tv work, and is likeably self depreciating on reflection, accepting when she got things wrong - although most often right. The Russell Brand chapter is a winner alone !!

Loved the idea and story setup which kept the reader guessing....but then it just seemed to loose momentum. Bit of a disappointment

I love this man..from his days in The communards to his BBC Radio 2 musings (Pause for Thought), Saturday Live. Masterchef..Strictly. In this book Richard shares his early intro to pop music via the classical route, the frightening and devastating chapter of the AIDS epidemic and his move towards faith. Strikingly honest at all times- this is an intelligent, warm and at times delightfully naughty listen.
