Reading this in 2020, post all the confessions from Lance, has not dulled the story at all. If anything, it has added to it. It's a well written, factual, not overly self indulgent tale. I would highly recommend it

Sandwiched between brilliant historical storytelling comes a brilliant pattie of cultural beliefs, a big layer of feel good fandom, some crispy acknowledgement of industry challenges and smothered in a "you just want more" sauce. Also at little over 6.5 hours, you wont spend all day waiting for this feast. This book is a must listen too

I enjoyed it, but it doesnt go anywhere the top of the lost. It's a solid book, presented in highly detailed, linear fashion. However, there was lots of room left where it could have become substantially more gripping

If you're one of those hyper boring people looking for a textbook on how to succeed, don't waste your time. This is so much more than that. This book portrays a human, with human emotions, that just happened to have one of the biggest ideas of the last 20 years. It's a well written, flowing narrative that I would happily recommend to anyone

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a wasted book. However, I feel like most of the information that was in this book could have been summarized on his Wikipedia page. The book lacked that edge that makes you want to keep reading, the piece that keeps you enthralled. Not disappointed that i read it, but wouldn't reccomend it to my friends

While I enjoyed parts of the book, it could easily have been condensed in a blog or the likes. Parts of Satya's thinking challenged the way we should think about the world and its challenges, however, the majority just felt like observations and ramblings. Not disappointed that a listened to it, but wouldn't hurry to reccomend it

This book was outstanding! Not only is it a classic book with a very unique structure that grips you every step of the way, but the audio rendition goes above and beyond. Each character (of which there are many) has a unique voice, helping you to connect with each of them and making this more than just a book

Being an avid listener, my library is full of great books. However, had i to chose one to reccomend to someone this would be it. Compelling, fascinating, but not condescending, this is an absolute must listen. I'm now the proud owner of 8 hard copies. Everyone I care about most is getting one for Christmas

Don't get me wrong, i enjoyed it enough; the concepts are interesting and challenging. However, it lacks any flow between these concepts, leaving you feeling like you have a list rather than a narrative. The narrator did a standout job

This book was readable, but it definitely wouldn't end up on the bookshelf. It didnt give me comfort that the writer was an insider or he had any information that you couldn't find on Google. It supported this with a weak storyline, not really reaching a crescendo at any point. Readable, but I wouldn't recommend it
