I truly wish this book had either finished an hour and a half earlier, or better yet had spent another hour or more in its epilogue. In the epilogue, the author seemed to force everything out in a massive rush, and it was unfortunate, because up until that point it had been an absolutely gripping novel, and I would have been happy to listen to it for another hour or two, to really flesh out the conclusion. Aside from the succinctness of the final section of the book, the story was fantastic and sincere; The characters were easily relateable, and there didn't seem to be any "superhuman" abilities in place as often happens in this genre. I was always looking forward to find out what would happen next, and enjoyed the main part of the story immensely.

I was very eager to get in to this book as I could hardly stop the first, children of time. However this felt like it stagnated at several points throughout, and direction seemed lost. I also felt no empathy for any of the characters this time, and found some of the story to feel fragmented. In saying all that however, The universe that has been created is brilliant and interesting, and the ideas put across by the author are great. I’d still be able to recommend it, but it pales in comparison with the previous title.

This book was fantastic! I didn't enjoy the narrator at first, but she definitely grew on me. I only really listen to audible on my commutes, but this book had me listening to finish my current chapter regularly after I got home. Highly recommended!

Easily the best Audible book I've listened too! Humourous, and enjoyable. The stories were great and very well narrated! I hope there's a sequel!

I didn't get all the way through this entire collection. I found the first narrator (for Dr Jeckyl & Mr Hyde) was extremely monotone. The few attempts at a change of voice was just adding a bit of gravel to the current tone. I listened to about half of Frankenstein, but found this to also be quite a dull listen, as such I only listened to half of this. The narrator was better than the first, but I just didn't enjoy listening. The stories overall are good, they're classics, but the delivery of them wasn't so much. I usually listen to audible while driving, but found that these books were making me drowsy. So if you need to get to sleep, these might help!!
