For those Stephen King fans, this the author at his best. I first read It when it came out and was a little dubious about listening to the book. The reader’s performance was so professional I got lost in the story straight away, and came out 40 hours or so later. Loved every minute :) Enjoy...

The story reminded me a lot of The Stand however character description, atmosphere, it is all there. Could not stop listening to it. Performance was outstanding!! When is the next book out??

The performance by various readers was excellent and so credible! The story itself was entertaining and kept you guessing. Loved the heroin, with all her self doubts but determination.

Love it!

This story kept me hanging right until the end. It is as a little confronting in some parts but the narrators (really enjoying having more than one) conveyed this well constructed d story really well.

Fast paced, lots of surprises, right down to the last minute. I have already downloaded another book from the same author!

The story was far too long. Some interesting action moments but some very long-winded uninteresting descriptions that made this book disappointing. I loved The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, this doesn't compare.

Characters are well developed, story keeps you on the edge of your seat, narrators are so credible, you can "see" the characters. All around an excellent story!

Would you consider the audio edition of The Empty Chair to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the book.

What did you like best about this story?

Classic Rhyme, lots of twits and turns, addictive!

What about George Wilson’s performance did you like?

George is just right for this story. He had all the characters so well defined, I was transported in Deaver's world without looking back. Fantastic performance.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No, full on action the whole way

Any additional comments?
