One minute Out is very likely the best spy thriller story you will ever read or listen to. Mark Greaney now owns this genre and Jay Snyder absolutely entertains you in making it come to life .. what a legendary pair the two of them have become over this past decade. .. and for me how am I going to wait another year to see what trouble violator will find himself in next time.

Mark Greaney at his best (again) .. such a believable story it will keep you awake for hours .. I hope the captain of the John Warner sub meets Connelly in the follow Up story.

Was this a real Wilbur Smith book?

I have read Wilbur smith books for over 40 years but I am not convinced this book was really written by him. I haven't read any of his recent stories since he killed off Taita's character after that River God trilogy or the amazing Courtney or Ballantyne series and gut feel tells me he has just become a brand name.

Spy thrillers don't get any better than The Grey Man series and Mark Greaneys latest book, read perfectly by Jay Snyder, leads this genre with world class writing and non stop believable action.

Beautifully tied up at the end .. I can't wait to see where and how the author brings James Reece back to shore and gives him a second chance at life.

Just like the authors first book .. you will not be able to escape from the entanglement of facts, theories, logic and visionary thought processes. This is such a clever book on many fronts .. I am so impressed with the clarity of explanation that I think it will stay in my thoughts forever. So well done.

How can anyone blend so perfectly the evolutionary sciences with philosphopy history and politics and then turn it into a spellbinding story that everyone should participate? It would seem that Mr Harari has done it perfectly. This is one of the best informative and thought provocative reads I have ever encountered. Those perpetual arguments about the true meaning of our lives and why are we here are so succinctly flipped over and given perspective that we are simply a Darwinian stroke of luck until we morph into something else or engineer our own fate.

The Gray Man series is just getting better and better .. Mark Greaney's writing is world class and he is at the top of his game perfectly paired with Jay Snyder also at his best .. It might take Mark another year to come up with another story but I don't know how he will beat Agent in Place for pure non-stop action writing ..!! Just perfect immersive writing ..!!
