Songs of the Doomed
- More Notes on the Death of the American Dream
- By: Hunter S. Thompson
- Narrated by: Hunter S. Thompson
- Length: 3 hrs and 2 mins
With Thompson's trademark insight and passion about the state of American politics and culture, Songs of the Doomed charts the long, strange trip from Kennedy to Quayle in Thompson's freewheeling, inimitable style. Spanning four decades - 1950 to 1990 - Thompson is at the top of his form while fleeing New York for Puerto Rico, riding with the Hell's Angels, investigating Las Vegas sleaze, grappling with the "Dukakis problem", and finally, detailing his infamous lifestyle bust.
Audio quality is utterly awful.

Listening to Hunter ramble about his work and spend more time ranting than reading is what makes it worth it. It's the true dr HST gonzo experience!
The Girl on the Train
- By: Paula Hawkins
- Narrated by: Louise Brealey, India Fisher, Clare Corbett
- Length: 10 hrs and 57 mins
Rachel catches the same commuter train every morning. She knows it will wait at the same signal each time, overlooking a row of back gardens. She's even started to feel like she knows the people who live in one of the houses. Jess and Jason, she calls them. Their life - as she sees it - is perfect. If only Rachel could be that happy. And then she sees something shocking. It's only a minute until the train moves on, but it's enough. Now everything's changed.
Slow start, pretty good overall

Very engrossing, well read aside from the Anna parts, they are frustrating to listen to
