Considerate & contemplative towards our brethren of the animal kingdom. ***Exceptional narration by Adam Grupper.*** A remarkable tale, played out within the fascinating minds of honest, loveable animals. Beautiful. Raw, but beautiful. I loved it!

Exceptional narrative; remarkable narration.

Erin Bennett is an excellent narrator, bringing characters alive from the pages to your ear. I was really impressed how each character had its own qualities & voice which was easily discernible from one another. Paul Tremblay certainly has his own special style of telling a story. Even just the way each conversation in the tale is written; it’s different & easier to follow along (for lack of a better description- if you’ve experienced this audiobook, you may know what I mean). I listened to ‘Disappearance at Devil’s Rock’ over four days of periodic intervals. I found each character intriguing & so well formed by the author; their feelings, thoughts & actions were portrayed with a (sometimes dark) depth & fullness I really appreciated. It’s easy to get carried away in the tides of a narrative when the characters within are relatable &/or feel like real people rather than fiction. This being my first Paul Tremblay experience, I am definitely keen to traverse more of his works. He has great perception & insight into the human psychological clockwork.. I gave 5 stars for my rating as: I found the story intriguing, the writing style unique, the narration perfectly performed (with subtle vocal conversions for each character). Additionally, I’ve been left with a strong need to discover more from Paul Tremblay... I recommend this audiobook to any mature minded individuals who have a proclivity for drama, suspense & the strangeness of the human psyche.

Amazing. I highly recommend this to anyone!

This was really cool. I especially like how varied the topics are in each section/chapter. There’s something within to enthral pretty much anyone. I enjoyed every story. The narrator was also really easy to listen to; real nice voice. Some of the tales within this compilation are quite spooky/creepy as well; as a fan of horror & all things creepy, I found this particularly intriguing. An overall great listen. :)

Excellent! Highly recommend!

Wow.. after listening to the previous Mountain Man 1-3, I’ve now completed the following number 4: Well Fed by Keith C Blackmore; I must say, it’s been a most excellent journey. Everything I love in an epic... Horror, Comedy, Thrills & bad arse characters with admirable qualities- plus some abhorrently cruel shit-heads you love to hate, just to keep things interesting. I was completely captivated throughout & chapter by chapter, I grew personally attached to the protagonists within; particularly Gus- what a guy! Each crisis scene within the storyline really grips you by the balls in an icy vice of suspense! I actually held my breath in some instances. Haha! I highly recommend the entirety of the Mountain Man Series to all who will appreciate a zombie apocalypse ‘done right’ & relatable. Additionally, you just can’t beat a narration by R C Bray.. his sonorous, sultry tones breathe life into any authors creation; he is an integral component in the world of narrative, & as I like to say, the Barry White of Audiobooks. If you’re searching for some high quality audio entertainment, replete with comedic quips & full throttle thrills, look no further! Get into Well Fed, you’ll not be disappointed.

I simply adored all three of the tales in this series. Great concept, relatable/REAL characters (especially Gus! Oh, how I LOVE that rugged Mountain Man with a heart o’ gold!); all round TOP fucking listen. R C Bray, as always, provides his soothing, sultry voice to the mix which makes binge listening not only doable, but desirable. ;) I highly recommend the Mountain Man Series by the talented, & creatively vibrant: Keith C Blackmore, to literally anyone who enjoys a healthy dose of raw excellence in their audio epics. Thank you for creating MM for my listening pleasure! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!

I encourage others to enjoy this novel nocturnally; as I did. Shit got pretty creepy with the lights out & a particularly brutal storm howling it up outside. Regardless, nobody should be listening to Horror titles in daylight hours. -.- The odds of shitting yourself drops drastically! -Intriguing & genuinely creepy Tale.

Trapped was a thrilling experience to say the least. I was completely enraptured throughout every nail-biting, sphincter clenching chapter. As always, Konrath provided an intense thrill-ride of an epic replete with substantial, relatable characters, alongside some utterly repellent & deeply disturbing ones. The narrator, Phil Gigante, was once again an amazing performer who breathes life into another of J A Konrath’s horrific, but tantalising, tales. 5 stars all round!
