When aspiring writer Guinevere Beck strides into the bookstore where Joe works, he is instantly smitten. Beck is everything Joe has ever wanted: tough, razor-smart, and sexier than his wildest dreams. He'd kill to have her. Soon Beck can't resist her feelings for a guy who seems custom made for her. When a string of macabre incidents tears her world apart, there is only one person she can turn to. But there's more to Joe than Beck realizes and much more to Beck than her perfect facade.

An interesting tale, as told from the side of a deranged stalker who’s obsession leads to ungodly consequences for all in his path.

It isn’t the most original tale, and often it all comes across too easy for the protagonist - but his obsession comes across at times truly deranged, sometimes funny.

The voice work though A+

If you’re looking for insight and self realisation - look elsewhere, this feels heavily self edited to portray herself as almost perfect, heavy name drops but no actual insight into anyone or anything. There is even a chapter talking about struggling to come to terms with her husband watching football on the weekends. For a multi decade career; that does not seem like a necessary chapter.

This adventure story has everything you could want: the good guy, some bad guys, the girl, sword fighting, revenge, romance, of course a happy ending, and rodents of unusual size. Join Westley the plucky farm boy, Buttercup the beautiful young maiden, Inigo Montoya the driven, embittered swordsman, and many other strange and unusual characters in this swashbuckling tale of good-natured silliness. It is read by Rob Reiner, who directed the motion picture based on this classic tale.

An epic tale, fascinating from start to finish, however Reiner does a better job at directing the movie adaptation than he does reading it

In a strange world where she was continually on display, stardom soon became a personal nightmare of constant exposure and sexualisation. Rose escaped into the world of her mind, something she had done as a child, and into high-profile relationships. Every detail of her personal life became public, and the realities of an inherently sexist industry emerged with every script, role, public appearance, and magazine cover.

Rose McGowan is abrasive, she’s opinionated, she’s hard to swallow. But those aren’t negative things, it’s an enthralling listen.
