This book stands up so well and loses almost nothing after 70 years. This masterfully-written novel is given the treatment it deserves, with a masterful narration by Andrew Wincott that seems to nail the tone exactly, while bringing life to it's diverse characters.

For such a heavy theme, this was an absolute pleasure to listen to.

Amateur performance from a mono-tonal, tight-jawed narrator spoilt an otherwise fantastic story. Only download this if something stops you reading the kindle/paperback version and you're dying to complete the Jack Ryan series. Skip until a new recording is available otherwise.

If you're like me and purchased this audiobook early, you'd have reached a fight scene with the book abruptly ending.

After following up with Amazon, the publisher has corrected it! Now this is the complete book.

It's a pretty decent story, and with the proper ending it's a lot more satisfying than the first listen through!

Jay skilfully narrates another action-packed story with intriguing twists and turns. This story is the closest to the classic James Bond spy story yet, without diverting from the pace or character of previous books. Difficult to put down till the end

I love when an author is willing, clear and interesting enough to read his own work. This is one of those times. Although some of the formulas explained would be a lot easier to digest visually, they're not necessary to get a reasonable grasp of most of the concepts explained.

A lot of thought and effort was placed into this publication and its voicing. An interesting story carefully, produced craftily to bring it to life unlike any other audio book I've heard thus far
