Just because someone contributed to the content of the book doesn’t mean they should be a narrator - her incredibly annoying accent and voice ruined the book for me. The content was ok, but not amazing.

Too much of the story is just about their chronological day to day actions. I’ve read many better books that didn’t win any awards.

Not as good as I expected

Story started off well, I even soon got used to the narrators strange way of talking, but some parts got a bit long winded and overall it is a very average science fiction story that did not live up to the potential of its great ideas. Also the feminist agenda sprinkled throughout seemed a bit forced and obvious to me.

Similar style to Song of Ice and Fire

I enjoyed the story, felt like I was back in Westeros after waiting for and not having a new book to read. It felt like this book ended a bit abruptly though.
