I couldn't finish listening to this - the sheer real life horror of what this boy went through was just too awful. I just wanted to weep. How brave of Stephen Smith to stand up & tell his story.

Disappointing

Frankly boring as. What with 'Rules of Backyard Cricket' I've learnt that the Editor's Choice is quite often not my choice.

Needs a Sequel!

I really enjoyed this little mystery story, but the ending left me wanting the story to continue...or for a sequel!

Well narrated, a good story overall. As usual, it was not the usual suspect! Some good twists & turns.

I thought this would be reminisces of an Australian childhood - well, it is, sort of - but only within reference to cricket. I found the story not particularly entertaining, being dull & uninteresting although the narrator does a good job. I'm roughly half way & can't be bothered to finish. (I'm not a cricket fan!)

A well crafted story, superb character portrayal by the author & narrator. Highly recommended.

The main character, Don Tillman, is an absolute absurd delight. The author has an excellent ability for portraying the personalities within the pages of this book. I found it thoroughly delightful.
