Annoying unneeded trivia. Terrible writing style. Too slow. Shallow characters.
I won’t be buying book 3. 🤔

Heaps of interesting concepts but I wish the Heroine would sack Zac and give Richard a go.

L.J. Shen is a seriously great author. This is a beautiful story written with compassion and a deep u der standing of human nature.

Like so many audio books, its necessary to refer to the written version for characters, names, places.
I got lost in the first chapter and cannot find a printed copy.
What’s the go?

Disappointing finish. The story was not good enough to stretch over 3 books. The story continued but not on audio.

What a great Trilogy.

This was so enjoyable because the concept was new and very well done. EG: fairy tale characters grouped and living together in a make believe world. There was. I explicit sex but it was mentioned occasionally. I wouldn’t think the story would interest young people but who knows.

Utter rubbish.

This trilogy is an insult to a readers intelligence and a blatant attempt by author and publisher to stretch this non story, over 3 books.
Meghan March is an experienced writer and knows how to write. However this story has been padded out with utter nonsense. The story might have made one shortish decent book.

So silly.

This writer can create great stories but....
Why oh why do so many authors create their lead female heroine as an imbecile.
In this instance, Piper swings from proficient fighter, diplomat, educated young woman to a brat without a brain. The interesting story loses its credibility. The reader (me) wants to throw the book away and discontinue the series. Pleas, Authors, keep your heroes consistent.

The narrator of the main female character couldn’t decide what accent to use and kept changing from cockney English to perfect diction. At times her accent was so broad she sounded like a twit.

I’ve read thousands of books, mostly audio. This trilogy is better than many of this genre. However the leading lady is a goose and lets the story down badly.
Hopefully she will redeem herself in book 3.
