Interesting but as usual, way too many Americanisms. We don’t have cell phones in Australia. We don’t set things down or fetch things and we most certainly do not holler.

Must read

Elisabeth Moss was the perfect choice for narrator. She made me feel like I was there.

It might sound strange but when the reader says bought instead of brought- it's very distracting. I'm not sure if it was written this way- I highly doubt it- but she read it that way every time.
It's very involved
It might be better the second time around ??

Unfortunately it's spoiled every other future book.
I love the way it's written.
There a a couple of sad bits but there are countless hilarious bits.
The ending was a bit crazy but you get so involved in the characters that you'll want to hear about the rest of their lives.
Sign me up for any and all future Trent Dalton books. He writes so differently than any author I've read.
Sting Wemyss was really good too.
