I couldn't love this more. The narration was wonderful, particularly Ann Dowd, and the story a perfect ending for Gilead.

The ideas of 'resting in oneself', and 'being, not having' are so extremely profound. A must read.

I bought this to see if I could get some strategies to help my husband cope with my BPD (only recently diagnosed). By the end of it I felt like a manipulative super villain! Now I'm questioning if my even writing this is part of my BPD profile... taking things personally and to heart. Not sure about this one. I know it isn't aimed at sufferers, but sheesh I feel awful after listening.

Honest and eloquent.

The combination of philosophical, sociological and personal reflections make this so much more than an instructional guide on how to minimise your technology use. The allusions to literary and historical figures make this such an engaging read... I just couldn't put it down! I have permanently deleted my Facebook and Instagram accounts, and not looked back once. Thanks for this one Cal. It's a game changer!

Stevenson lends her soothing voice to Magnusson's reflections. More than just a book about cleaning.

A perfect voice for Orwell's classic.

I've listened to this more times than I can count. The narration is brilliant in achieving an Orwellian mood.

Helen Russell delivers yet another amazingly relatable book! Lucy Price-Lewis is now Russell's voice as far as I'm concerned. A match made in heaven, and especially good for anyone at a crossroads.
