I really enjoyed this audio book. I have also purchased the physical book. The narrator does an amazing job of capturing the emotion of the events which the author has masterfully written.

Enjoyed it all the way through!

Captured every sense of the oil industry’s ludicrousness. The treat was that Rachel narrated it. It was as if she was talking to me directly, in a low key coffee shop about her research. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Was a good insight to masonry. The narrator did a superb job. Will likely listen to it again. I am not a mason.

Great book. Thoroughly enjoyed the story. Narrator was okay... some mispronunciations e.g. Edinburgh became Edinberg - which was painful to listen to.

Was a good read until the NBN chapter

Very well narrated by MT. A great insight to the life and rise of someone who could have made a great difference to Australian politics but ended up selling his soul. Thoroughly enjoyed the read / listen right up until the chapter about the NBN, but I had to stop reading after that. Had I skipped that chapter, the book would be 5 stars. Worth a read / listen but skip the NBN chapter. It’s tough to swallow.

I thought this book and audiobook was a thoroughly detailed account of the recovery of postwar Europe. I don’t think you could find a better narrator for this body of work. I constantly go back to listen to refer to chapters and are in the process of ordering a physical copy of the book. Highly recommend!

A great insight to the inner mental workings of an elite pitcher at the highest level. Can apply the lessons learned from the real-life examples in this book to situations outside of baseball. Delivered by the author and former mlb all-star pitcher, now turned mental skills coordinator, Bob (Tewks) Tewksbury. This was a treat. A great read / listen. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely take some pointers away and use them. Thank you for putting it together. At times it felt like I was on the mound with you.
