Story
Sandra Pankhurst founded her trauma cleaning business to help people whose emotional scars are written on their houses. From the forgotten flat of a drug addict, to the infested home of a hoarder, Sandra enters properties and lives at the same time. But few of the people she looks after know anything of the complexity of Sandra's own life. Raised in an uncaring home, Sandra's miraculous gift for warmth and humour in the face of unspeakable personal tragedy, mark her out as a one-off and make this biography unmissable.

A letdown
Reviewed: 22-05-2018
I had high hopes because the book was am editor's pick and at a glance the reviews were very positive. I was turned off after a few chapters though. I didn't believe the book was going to get better so I didn't finish it. The author is a talented writer but I didn't enjoy the subject, the characters, the reading. Not my cup of tea

not for me

when I first came across Peterson I was a fan. after a while I realised I didn't really enjoy his style. it didn't resonate with me. I thought I would try his book out since it was a bestseller. but apart from the first couple of chapters I didn't enjoy the book. I ended up only reading 2/3 of it. there are some gems in there still but overall I just didn't enjoy it.

It starts off great, but 92 is just way too much. All of the good content is at the start of the book.
