Absolutely brilliant. The narrator was spot on. She had the accents and tones of voices down perfectly. Had me on my toes right till the end. Each chapter was a different point of view which was also really interesting. Each character inflicted different feelings from me. Sometimes sympathy, sometimes rage and sometimes sadness. I know this book has mixed reviews, but I honestly enjoyed it from beginning till end.

I was kept on my tiptoes the entire time. I had sleepless nights wondering about what would happen next. Gwendolyn is such a talented narrator - the emotion she infuses into her words and the way she changes her voice slightly for each character and the accents. She's amazing. And R. A. Steffan - the way her mind works. Her imagination. I would love to meet her. I can't wait to read the fourth book but I'm also sad that after I finish it Frella's story will be over.

I absolutely adored listening to this book. Great narrator and amazing storyline. It really enthralled me. Esme and Khai were made for each other!! And the brief mention of Michael and Stella was beautiful. Next it's Quan's turn!!! Helen Hoang is an amazing author. I felt so many emotions and the book kept me interested right till the end.

She finally has all four of her mates! Finally! West took his sweet time. So as always I love how the narrators do the voices for the characters. Makes it so easy to follow. The fact she never used the truth seeking flames again after the huge build up was quite anti climactic. Same as when she found the man who had orchestrated the charge against her family that killed her dads and sisters and his swift death by dragon fire. I felt very jipped in the situation. Especially when it was described what they had done to her father's bodies after they had been murdered. Disgusting. He deserved so much worse! One huge compliment I'd like to give Eva Chase is her description of Rens PSTD. So vivid and descriptive I almost felt like I was there and experiencing it too!! And that ending. Wow. I have my closure. Bloody brilliant finale to the series. Ties up all the loose ends. Five stars!

Where has this series been all my life!? I can't believe it took me so long to start reading the first book. Well listening to it. Absolutely amazing. So intriguing and I can't wait to see what happens for Ren and her mates in the future. There are so many sad parts in her past but she has made sure they don't define her. I love that they are introduced as Happy, Doc, Dopey and Grumpy. All the information about her past and the history of the Kin groups is given in small amounts so I never felt overwhelmed. I have already started book 2 and am still so hooked!

Hard to read.

This book was really hard to swallow. What with Cole practically torturing her, Gavriel who is manipulating her and then River beating Tye. I am struggling. Then she has her hands on the medallion gut instead River destroys it? I'm so upset for Lera! There were also three times in the audio that I didn't understand one of the words the narrator was saying.

Loved and hated it!!

Argh I have such mixed feelings on this book! On the one hand Alex is an amazing author and I love the stories she writes about Lera and her Quint and the world she creates but on the other hand after everything Lera and the Quint went through and after finally being together and now this!?!? I don't know if my heart can take it. Poor poor Lera! I gave the performance a low rating because I could not understand the narrator when she was using Ty's voice. The accent was too strong and I only have the audible version so I couldn't even read what he said instead and had to guess.
