Sequel to the extraordinary The Name of The Wind, The Wise Man’s Fear is the second instalment of this superb fantasy trilogy from Patrick Rothfuss. This is the most exciting fantasy series since George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire, and a must for all fans of HBO's Game of Thrones.

I have stolen princesses back from sleeping barrow kings. I burned down the town of Trebon. I have spent the night with Felurian and left with both my sanity and my life. I was expelled from the University at a younger age than most people are allowed in. I tread paths by moonlight that others fear to speak of during day. I have talked to Gods, loved women, and written songs that make the minstrels weep. My name is Kvothe. You may have heard of me.

Wonderful conclusion to the story of my favourite characters . So many feels. I am speechless, except to say that I am deeply moved. I can only count two authors who have ever written characters with whom I have felt a deep connection to, but Robin Hobb has gone beyond this with her creation of Fitz and Beloved. So human with all their flaws and failings, but yet so full of heart and strength. I don't think anyone could read their tale from start to finish and not be a changed person by the end of it. Magical!

Is the first time I've heard 2 different narrators in the one audio book. But now I couldn't imagine it any other way. This story is beautiful and heart wrenching and magical.
