Very disappointing book by Peter May. The abrupt ending left the plot hanging with too many loose ends. As a fan of Peter May I felt the book was very light weight. Too hurried and a lacking a coherent plot.

An insight into people and small communities that makes it hard to stop listening. A moving portrait of a small town coping with sporting obsession.

At times the story drags and the plot is not totally convincing. No where near as gripping as VillaTriste
