Must say in retrospect l have mixed views on this series and this latest outing supports this view.
l enjoy fictional crime - however there needs to be some points of reality in the plot but here again it is all trying to be s Hollwood Blockbuster.

Read the Library book - do not waste money on buying this book.

l found this a very disappointing book. Disappointing in two ways :- First the goodie goodie family at the focus of this book and :- Secondly the total lack of believability of the plot.

This series is well worth the read and or listen to.

What l find l totally dislike about USA fiction crime writers is they can never kill off their primary characters for the realism of the book and story which is such rot.

l also enjoyed the evolution of the primary character as her story wove through the series.

l live in the biggest driest island in the world, where we are surounded by sunlight, heat, cold winters but my days are long and beautiful, no matter the season - the descriptions and mood settings of the landscape were wonderful to me as l was able gain a sense of the environment where these people live and ek out livings. Harsh in ways as my country is but so very different too.

Read all three books.

I am usually a bit of a fan of Lisa Regan, but not in this instance. Kill For You was :-
- Far fetched
- The reader was breathy and tedious ( may be the lack of quality of the writing didb't help
- Goody two shoes storey line
l can not recrmmend this book to you.

I am currently into checking out many Australian "who done its", so when l came across this book l decided to give it a read.
All l can say is a very disappointing outing.
I struggled to complete it as it was not worth the effort at all.
Check it out at a local Library

The reader Ames Horne did an excellent job reading - but she couldn't make up for the lack of a credible story.

DI Natalie Ward is so unlikable and single focused with all the rationalist BS to support her actions she is a Bitch from hell.
Carol Wyer has an ability to write her character in this way - without excuse and leave we the readers to our conclusions.
