a bit of everything in this book. I enjoyed it, treads the middle path between too much game dynamics and too much straight action.

Great effort by the narrator. An often funny and well balanced book. Aimed at young people and tge young at heart.

I enjoyed the book overall. The voices were great and characterisation excellent. In the end it may have been too realistic to some degree as I got sick of the hedonistic style of the narrative and found it trivial to be talking of arrangements and so forth of fictional albums. it is memorable but not a classic for me.

Well written and read but badly let down by the storyline. For the first half of the story it felt like it was setting the scene and building, then came the realisation that it was going to have a climax or come together. A number of characters I really didn't gel with either, so I found this book a disappointment.

This was good, I listened to it over a week and a half which is probably ideal for this style of novel. The character was more complex and more likeable than I anticipated. Very well narrated.

I must say that this story has well and truly run it's race with me. It needed fresh ideas but was on autopilot...

top shelf story that is beautifully written and read. Nostalgic, funny and above all else completely believable. Hugely enjoyable.

A complete waste of time. This series makes Dan Brown work look like timeless classics.
