Good short story with an interesting little insight into the Marquis' life.

Would love to read/hear more of his backstory.

If this was a TV show or movie, Johnny Depp would make a fine Marquis with his unique mannerisms.

Absolutely loved it. Another fantastic book by Neil and he doesn't disappoint. His narration is also at the perfect pace.

Horrifyingly good.

Loved it all the way. Then narrator did an awesome job at portraying the expressions and the book describing the horrors of how the insane and the assumed insane were mistreated really opens your eyes and rethink about life as we know it.

Would you try another book written by George Eliot or narrated by Cathy Dobson?

nope not keen

What could George Eliot have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

i think it was the narration that ruined it for me.

Would you be willing to try another one of Cathy Dobson’s performances?

no

Any additional comments?

not happy with this purchase

The Story was good but I didn't like the narrator. Much prefer the narrator on the first of these books.
