Internet fraudsters well they are in the news more and more and Peter James tries in this book to educate and warn, whilst giving us a good story. Well that's what l think he is doing anyhow. Strangely enough l felt this book to be the odd one out of the series but l don't know why....

Very good book to listen to

Story told from the point of view of two people. I found the story, interactions and pace all good. Looked forward to listening to this book more than l have others. I will follow Michael Robotham as he clearly has talent. The only reason l did not give this book five stars is the ending seemed to be out of kilter with the whole flow. But don't let that put you off, still a very good book.

This could just about be a stand alone and not one of a series. Well written, so easily listened to. If reading the author's style has you fly through the pages. Good story well researched.

Easy to listen to and as it jumps between the two main characters, it flows nicely. Thought some of the detail in this and just the concept was well thought out. Enjoyed.... will read this authors work again

Was hoping for something a little more exciting from such a great writer. Again author bounces around with the anti government, white supremist thing. The story is alright though ….just not great.

Ive read this authors works for years and years - 25 years or so - what impressed me most about this series, of which this book is the conclusion (l think?) is the author isn't young anymore, but my goodness his talent is endless, and he can be like a fresh breeze ….nothing stale or old in this. Others could learn a thing or two about writing, or about being extremely successful but not giving up or selling out when it comes to product. Koontz delivers.

Clever - nice, modern.... and still the literary charmer when it comes to stringing a sentence together.

Go for it, try the first and enjoy the rest.

The second book in the series, love the Irish accent. The story, like the first book has been well thought out, and that, if for no other reason, l can see myself buying the next book.

What was annoying was how her (Lotties) boss seemed the hate the ground she walks on and that she does nothing about it, l thought that annoying but then l realised my boss also hates the ground l walk on and l do nothing about it ….so, lol - likely spot on.

Enjoy the read

The book starts with her chewing on crisps and from that original start we are gifted a original...… this was not boring, even although for me the most boring thing you could talk about (besides real estate) is fashion and make up. I really liked this - and l sorta wish l took drugs when l was younger.... I think Cat goes her own way.... and the world might be better it. I do hope she lives long and eventually gives us another book.

Not sure .....

Not sure l should have purchased - with two of my most favorite author's, l couldn't say no.

I could see Lee Childs all over the book more than Karin Slaughter - who knows might be the other way around. It was the story itself that was for me a touch weak, if ever l was going to have two of the characters associated with the authors Trent and Reacher meet then it would not have been in this manner - too shiny - very much too shiny lol - l would have preferred gritty which with the skill set those too authors have would have been doable - shame really.

Good story

Nice hook to start with, as to why someone with one day to go on a prison sentence would escape. That cleverness says with the book, nice pace, good characters, worth the read.
