Enjoyable listen

Good story and one I was happy to listen of. Only complaint is that during the reading the narrators would make mistakes and you hear a click then they repeat the phrase again. I would like to see those edited out.
Apart from that it was good listening 👍

Story
"Dude! It finally came!" My roommate barely withheld his excitement as he barreled into the living room of our apartment with a package in his hand. "Check it out, Jacob." He smiled as he tore at the brown paper surrounding his purchase. As he ripped the covering off the package, bits and pieces scattered all across the floor of the living room like confetti. For a second, I thought about lecturing Todd about not making a mess of our apartment, but who was I kidding? This place was already a shithole. At least some half-assed confetti would make it feel a little livelier.

Hilarious Novel

Thoroughly enjoyed the novel and its theme. When the narrators dropped the ball when Lola died. Breaking out of character was just so funny.
In short, listen to this book. 👍

Story
What does the most powerful wizard in the world do after the war? Despite the hordes of goblins still ready to ravage human lands, King Rard has signed a treaty with them, so Minalan is forbidden from taking advantage of their weak state. Most would take a well-deserved rest over the summer…but Minalan and his household are busy repaying a favor owed to the tribal Kasari for their help in the war, and the Spellmonger pays his debts. So Minalan spends his summer sneaking 2,000 Kasari children through enemy lines and some of the roughest territory in the Five Duchies toward salvation.

This audible was a little shorter than others in the series yet I found it very well presented. The introduction of familiar and new faces rounded the book out well. The exploration of the divinity was rather well presented and the Spellmonger’s irreverent attitude was most amusing.
In my mind it set up a number of new road paths the Spellmonger will take and doing so enables the reader to have something to look forward to.
Overall I enjoyed this audio book and highly recommend it to others.
