Sylvie Rossi has the loner thing down pat, with the exception of her best friend, Grace. But when the two are trapped in a hospital during the last gasp of a dying city, alone time is no longer an option. A nurse's offer of sanctuary promises Sylvie the supplies she needs to survive the zombies - it's the coexisting with people that might do her in. Eric Forrest will do whatever it takes to get into the dead city for his sister, including ending up dead himself. He's used to taking risks, but with every mile he travels death looks likelier.

I can't believe I got so invested in a book about Zombies.... I loved this whole series, amazing characters and relationships, I laughed and cried and laughed and cried together. I listen while I'm driving and at one point I pulled up at the supermarket but couldnt go in because I was crying so much... had to compose myself first.

Thank you to Sarah the author for creating these charcters and the narrators did an amazing job bringing them to life.

Sunset Park is gone. People are missing. Sylvie, Eric, and the other survivors have crossed the water to the security of a new Safe Zone, where they hope to heal their battered hearts, amass an armory, and get back at the ones who took it all away. But with zombies on the move and few resources to speak of, it’s harder than expected to plot their revenge. For some, it’s harder still to garner their resolve, since vengeance means more of them will die. But safety is ephemeral in a city where food is short and tensions are high. It seems fate may leave them no choice but to fight.

This is the second book in this series i have listened to and I loooove these characters, the sense of humour the author has brought to the book, the perfect narration, the hilarious inappropriate one liners. Finding it difficult to find a new listen as i am still invested in the characters in these books. Excitedly awaiting the third instalment, please get busy TJ Klune and please keep Kurt Graves as your narrator...... Please Please Please

This book is truly amazing.... nothing like i expected but i was totally absorbed in it. I literally had to force myself to stop listening so i could get some sleep. And the narrator, brilliant, its hard to believe only one person is narrating, i know which character he is just by the change in tone in his voice, i dont think if i had read the book myself if i would have enjoyed it so much, Kirt Graves you have definately done justice to this series. I am halfway through the second book and am already hoping there will be a third.

Cant speak highly enough of this series and the narrator.....

Outstanding Narration, had me holding my breath, brilliant.

There is one more book but can't listen yet, the ending to the third book could have finished the series beautifully, i was so invested in the characters i can't cope with anyone else dying so will maybe lusten to the fourth once i have recovered

This is one of the most disappointing books i have listened to, well started listening to. I struggled through to chapter 10 and the only memorable moment was the description of someone eating eggs, two eggs to be exact. what happened over the ten chapters would fit on one page the rest is just descriptive prose. i listen while i travel to work and at chapter 10 I actually couldnt stand it any more and turned it off. i say disappointing but it was just flat out boring. and it only has one star because i had to.
