Story
The laugh-out-loud, reach-for-your-hanky story of one of Australia's best-loved comedians. Anh Do nearly didn't make it to Australia. His entire family came close to losing their lives on the sea as they escaped from war-torn Vietnam in an overcrowded boat. But nothing - not murderous pirates nor the imminent threat of death by hunger, disease or dehydration as they drifted for days - could quench their desire to make a better life in a country where freedom existed.

An entertaining tale
Reviewed: 29-05-2020
I thoroughly enjoyed this book - the MC were charming (the prince especially) and adorkable. I was especially entertained by the inclusion of all the falls - clumsy and water! Ana Ashley really nailed the incessant drama of the press for people who are born royal and the challenges faced by those they fall for - royal or not, we all seek love and happiness and these guys find it 😁💐

Story
Dean Mathews leads a normal, if boring life. His career, his home, his social life, none of it is really what he wanted for himself, but it's the life he has nonetheless. A small coincidence brings him the opportunity to take ownership of his grandfather's old farm, to bring the place under his wing and careful hand. This choice will lead him from his old life to face a host of new challenges, most of which he expected. The unforeseen comes in the form of Mikael Reed, a simple carpenter - with a few secrets.

The main characters in this beautifully told tale are adorkable. They are macho without been drongos, soft without being too soppy and loving in an enviable way. Thank you for sharing this dream of a story enunciated wonderfully by our narrator .

Story
Confident businessman Joel Rhodes sees the small California town of Lavender Shores as nothing more than a business opportunity and a final stepping stone to the position he's been working toward his entire life. It was supposed to be just one night in town to close the deal, and sleeping with one of the local men, no matter how gorgeous, meant nothing more than a few hours of fun. Andrew Kelly is perfectly content with the life he has in his hometown. So much so that the only thing missing is someone to share it with.

Learning to love

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. I even listened twice before writing my review and got lost in the story of love unfolding through the telling both times. Even the strongest of characters, both in real life and in the best stories, seek acceptance from people whom logic tells us it will never happen. Learning to choose love over a driving need for acceptance was beautifully explored in this tale, with all the angst I’ve witnessed and experienced around choosing love. Thank you for a quality story and a quality narration. Love is not always straight forward, but it is worth the adventure of loving.

Communication tends to clear the air
Reviewed: 24-03-2020
Austin and Daniel are well drawn characters as is their lack of communication. Espen’s gifted storytelling puts to the lie that behaving like a 2-3 year old can solve things - only maybe when you are 2-3 years old. Loved this story - it was sharp and sweet, fast paced with beautifully tender slower movements, and yes the 2MC did learn to behave like adults to face their fears/angst/anger. The only downside fo this Aussie was the narration. It was good enough but I’ve heard other people read aloud and their voices make me smile. For me it was the storyline by the author that kept me there rooting (Aussie slang for cheering) for them to adult up!

Story
After zero-gravity heroics left astronaut Nicolas Rogers injured, his new job as a park ranger seems perfect. Being a caretaker of his corner of the Smoky Mountains makes him almost okay with having to be on Earth. More importantly, this deep in the woods, Nico's practically a hermit at a remote ranger station. Sure, he has good friends in nearby Knoxville, but he's otherwise free from petty drama and broken hearts...until Deen enters his world.

Story
Don't ever accidentally fall for the straight guy. Especially when he's trying to pry your family's business right out from under you. I should know. Because when Hudson Wilde walks into my family's pub and begins babbling so adorably, I can't help but fall just a little bit in love. But I'm looking for Forever Man, and the sexy American is certainly not him. He's so confused about what he wants, even choosing something from the dinner menu throws him into a fuddle. But those eyes...how can I resist?
