I love the Commune series, but really wish for a *20 years later* edition to see how things panned out. Overall, another brilliant performance by R.C. Bray putting other narrators to shame, and brilliant story by Mr. Gayou. Just wish we'd see more.

As someone who suffers from tinnitus, it was often difficult to make out the conversation during background audio heavy segments, but overall it was very enjoyable. And as much as I love RC Bray, it is going to be a shock to go back to him voicing Nagatha and the other female crew members of the MBoP.

"TRUST THE AWESOMNESS!" ' That is the theme of this iteration of the series, and it nails it. There are brilliant Skippy/Joe moments in this book. I just cannot wait for the nest one!

RC Bray, brilliant as always, story a little sappy

The author is obviously a gun nut, and his characters are a little shallow, but the overall delivery was worth a listen. RC Bray is by far my favourite narrator, and found him to be amazing again in this book.

One of my favourite books of all time, narrated by one of my favourite voices.

I listen to audio books on the bus to and from work, meaning the listening environment is a little noisy. Coupled with this narrators odd shifting tones and volumes throughout a sentence, it was impossible to get through this. I ended up picking up my hardcopy of Revelation Space instead to get my fix.

I really struggled to get through this book, after absolutely falling in love with the series. The narrator is possibly the worst audio book narrator I've ever listened to. Microsoft speech function could do a more convincing job of it. Besides the narration the book itself is a low point in the Expanse series.
