Meet Phluttr - a diabolically addictive new social network and a villainess, heroine, enemy, and/or bestie to millions. Phluttr has ingested every fact and message ever sent to, from, and about her innumerable users. Her capabilities astound her makers - and they don't even know the tenth of it. But what's the purpose of this stunning creation? Is it a front for something even darker and more powerful than the NSA?

Very interesting story and well worth the listen, only let down by its's tendancy to repeat sections or be slightly wordy but otherwise an fun dive into some sections of tech that I would never have thought about reading up on.

We are constantly bombarded with inaccurate, contradictory and sometimes misleading information - until now. Ben Goldacre masterfully dismantles the dubious science behind some of the great drug trials, court cases and missed opportunities of our time. He also shows us the fascinating story of how we know what we know, and gives us the tools to uncover bad science for ourselves.

amazing content, really good insight into the battle between science and the media. just a shame that in some places the narrator made the tone of the book feel more condescending than the words seemed to. might just be me but it just seemed a little off, turned it from an interesting discussion to a look at these poor people who can't understand the truth I'm spreading.

Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.
