Jarring mispronuncuations marred the narration, in particular the narrator needs to learn that the word "quay" is pronounced "kee" not "kway".

Very enjoyable.

A bit slow to start, especially with 2 story lines to follow, but developed into a promising beginning for a new series. And the excellent narrator really made the book come alive.

Yet another change of narrator!

Great story, love this series, but it's irritating when the new narrator pronounces names and places differently from the previous narrators.

Poor narrator.

Really enjoyed the story, as good as the others in the series, but the narrator's forced voice was irritating at best, sometimes outright annoying.

What made the experience of listening to Lake Silence the most enjoyable?

An outstanding new storyline in one of my favourite series!

Any additional comments?

I've thoroughly enjoyed all of Anne Bishop's books (I just wish more of them were available on audiobook!), but this is one of her best.

Another excellent read.

I've enjoyed every book in this series, particularly the excellent narration of Kobna Holbrook-Smith. But I'm very disappointed that this time my pre-ordered book has turned out to be just a novella.

Loved the story from one of my favourite authors - but loathed the narrator! Her high-pitched, breathy and gabbled narration was just about unintelligible until I slowed the playback down to 80% of normal speed. If I wasn't such a fan of the author I'd never have made it through the book.

Loved it!

Fantastic and complex story from Peter Hamilton, thoroughly enjoyable - and Toby Longworth is a brilliant narrator, with the ability to bring many different characters alive with clever use of accents and voice tone. I am looking forward to enjoying more books from this pair.
