I found the pace of the story to be abit jumbled. The main characters were rather unlikable. it did seem to have a very deep lore to the world i just found the explanations very underwhelming or just confusing.

loved it. gave an even more I depth look to the movie. if you struggled to understand The Last Jedi as a film, this will clear things up.

So this book is LONG. but its a universe building book.
it focuses on 3 seperate characters. the 2 main stories are really gripping and had me wanting more with the end of every chapter. the third seems like a massive drag until the final 6ish hours of the book where the whole book erupts into an all mighty crescendo of excitement and intrigue. im hooked on this world now. Worth the length.

this is just another review to comfirm this is a must read. i almost couldn't turn it off. the performance was really really good. such life in the characters.
But the story itself will have you laughing and crying along with it. such emotions all paired with the clever fantasy itself. i feel i could step into the world my self.

what a performance

Great story. lots of cool star wars canon information. but i couldn't help but find sometimes the narrative was a bit inconsistent. but on the whole good. and the performance was great.

this book is just as dull as the first. Its not a story its more an overly detailed history text. if you are a fan of the t.v "show" you may enjoy this. if not dont waste your time. The narrator does nothing to improve the experience with his boring tone and lack of range.
