I have listened to all of SJM’s books and feel that she is dragging them out way too much. My love for her style was not enough to stop me from rolling my eyes in places and to get frustrated when she would repeat herself endlessly.
Perhaps being paid by the word has changed her style?

This is the fifth book I’ve listen to that Candice has either written or co-authored and I am loving her work. I don’t have any flash works to critique her work, other than Candice writes a fabulous story that flows well and is compelling.
I have listened to a few books narrated by Lani (most of those are Candice’s books) and I find he is the perfect match for Candice’s books.
On to the next one now...🙃

Thrown headlong into her first murder hunt, Lacey’s quiet life changes overnight.
