I remembered how good the rich backstories and lore of my childhood readings of White Dwarf magazine were. So I thought I would give this a try, having nothing else in my list of things to listen to. The stories were pretty good and the acting and sound effects were very good, however I just wasn't as interested as I was when I was a kid.

Neil has once again written a riveting story and the quality of the full cast production is simply stellar. The actors who voice the various characters really make this audio series come to life, lending depth and believability to what would otherwise be considered to fantastical to exist. A must listen to.

An intricate and well crafted world occupied by complex and relatable characters. Brandon has explored what both split personalities and the rigors of war can do to a person and how individuals can aid each other to survive. Another excellent addition to The Stormlight Archive.

This audiobook was difficult to get interested in at the beginning. It took me several false starts before I was able to white knuckle my way to the end. There are some very good bits but the research jargon at the start just made me feel bored and as if the author were trying to justify himself too much.

With weird pop culture tie-ins and events that make use of bizarre "what if" scenarios. This is a fun adventure that will keep you entertained.
