Thrawn by Timothy Zahn is a perfect Star Wars story with the advantage of the battles feeling realistic unlike the ridiculous tactics seen in the movies or even by Thrawn as seen in Star Wars rebels. In my opinion this book is the best rendition of the character Thrawn yet
