In her memoir, a work of deep reflection and mesmerizing storytelling, Michelle Obama invites listeners into her world, chronicling the experiences that have shaped her - from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work to her time spent at the world's most famous address. With unerring honesty and lively wit, she describes her triumphs and her disappointments, both public and private, telling her full story as she has lived it - in her own words and on her own terms.

As a middle aged white guy growing up in wonderful circumstances (not in the US), Michelle Obama’s story is incredibly inspiring. I think girls, Americans, people from minorities might find it even more so.

I loved her voice and am grateful she took the time to do the audiobook herself. Everyone should listen.

Looking back at this moment in history, historians will ask if Americans knew they were living through the first case of criminal conspiracy between an American presidential candidate turned commander in chief and a geopolitical enemy. The answer might be: it was hard to see the whole picture. The stories coming in from around the globe have often seemed fantastical: clandestine meetings in foreign capitals, secret recordings in a Moscow hotel, Kremlin agents infiltrating the Trump inner circle....

I like Seth's tweets but they don't make a book. Perhaps in written form the reader could skip bits but as a spoken book, it's unintelligible. Summaries, recaps and straight out repeats of great slabs mean this is agony to listen to. Couldn't finish it.

It could literally be half the length and still be repeatitive. A lot of the Trump books are rushed, but this one doesn't seem to have had any attention at all from an Editor.

Saying things over and over doesn't prove collusion, it proves you know how to copy and paste.

I think Ric Jerrom reads them better than me. Really enjoying his performance. Some people don't like the detail and pace of the series but i do, and even better read to me.
