I wanted to tell them to shut up moaning...the plot drifted aimlessly, maybe like normal life, but not a good read.

not enough character building, too much overly theatrical fighting and grandiose description of too many interwoven mythological narratives.

Strangely engaging although quite corny story about an American Outlander fan visiting Scotland; a mix of travel blog and diary style we accompany Emma in her search of her modern Jamie Fraser. Since the narrator is "Emma" there are some truly terrible Scots accents, not to mention the English and Irish accents of the characters she meets - made me cringe and laugh out loud.
