This was totally unexpected after experiencing the first book of this series but it had me hooked very quickly and I am chomping at the bit to get started on the next installment! If you are reading this review, have no doubt that Stephen King is a master of words and this will not disappoint. The narration is on point and made falling into this story such a pleasure! Frank Muller brought things to life in a way that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and absolutely loved the narration by George Guidall. It's been a series that I had wanted to start for some time now and my only regret is not starting sooner...on to the next installment now!

A great Aussie tale!

The Stand is a book that I have physically read many times (at least 6 times, maybe as many as 8) and having it read to me was an absolute pleasure. This story has been with me since I was a teenager and it is just as wonderful every time I get immersed into the words of Stephen King. It's a long book but is worth every minute it takes to read it!
