Excellent plot, interesting take on contemporary geopolitical challenges. Great to hear JLC reading it. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Should be compulsory reading for every student. The issues are real and the suggested resolution in the last chapter is the only practical resolution. Thanks to both the author and the narrator.

I have read most of the author's work and, in my opinion, this is his best.

Starts slowly then builds up to unputdownable relentlessness. And you'll never guess the ending! I'd put a quid or two on that.

Another winner from the Master of gorgeous prose. Dave and Cloete are wonderfully flawed but honourable and loving role models.

I like to listen to books as I fall asleep. Impossible with this one. No disrespect to the musicians, at all, but the music is loud and totally unnecessary. And, maybe that's because it's nowhere near King's best.

A grand performance by James ("Franco/American spaghetti", really?) Franco. A chilling story, made wonderful by random acts of tenderness and kindness. Thank you.

This is a beautiful story of redemption & "True Grit"; flawlessly written and narrated. Post apocalyptic literature at its best. Ms Freedman & Ms Eby, I thank you both for the hours of enjoyment these two books gave me.

"How not to write", would be a worthy title. The author should read Mark Twain.
