But the voice acting & Ork perspective make up for it. Worth a go for any 40k fan looking for something fresh.

Should be the title of this book. Narration was great, genuinely good story for a Warhammer novel, cool lore bits and lots of different factions showing up thanks to Trazyns pokeballs... uh, i mean his tesseract vaults. Trazyn and Orikans bickering is pretty funny at times - enjoyed this book alot! Made a nice change to see things from someones point of view besides the Imperium.

Great performance, predictable story.

If you own an arty t-shirt with a wolf on it, have a beard and refer to the Space Wolves as The Rout you'll probably love this over the top book of Bolter Porn. If howling at the moon doesnt get you rock hard and you were hoping for an interesting Imperium vs Xenos story, look elsewhere. The performance and sound effect audios are great, though.

Really enjoyed his last couple of books, I used to avoid Guy Haley but his latest Heresy Novels have been great. Keeble is a fantastic narrator, as always.

Really enjoyed this. I love Dinosaurs, and this was informative, light and interesting to listen to. I appreciated the sombre, truthful ending, too.

Coming from someone who liked The Old World and really enjoys 40k books... Really enjoyed it. The story was interesting, characters and narration were great. Maybe dropped the pacing slightly in the middle, but overall a great listen.

Im a big fan of ADB and his work, but this story just didn't really draw me in. Its hard to explain, but the characters didnt really develop into memorable ones, and there werent any epic scenes I can recall now ive finished it. It was an okay ride as far as 40k books go, but it didn't blow my mind the way Aarons books usually do. Narrator was pretty good. Took one restart of the book to get into listening to her.

Really enjoyed this book, and im not usually a Space Wolf fan. Guy Haley did a really good job bringing them to life in a well considered and engaging way in this book. I didnt particuarly rate his author work before this book, but ill keep an eye out from now on.

This was a pretty good listen, the book is split into three stories which follow three sets of characters. Some cool new lore for Chaos fans, good characters, id probably have given it a 5 but the story arcs felt a little dragged out in places. Sets the scene for the invasion of Terra, finally. Enjoyed this book.
