Another interesting story with some overall plot progression. I am beginning to get annoyed with magills blatant insubordination, it was ok when he was right but often he isn't and it makes him seem like a douche

the comparisons to starship troopers are deserved and while I don't think it is as deep in military understanding it serves a story which differs enough from similar military sci-fi to keep me hanging on every chapter. It's not a copy but rather a talented writer taking inspiration from the right places and producing a story that holds up well against any in the genre.

I was excited after and interesting concept in book one but I was worried a about all the jumping around of points of view and that has continued here to the point where it seems to be solely to pad each story enough for multiple books to be sold on an otherwise event dry story. It had so much potential but I am half way through this book we are about 1-2 hours into the time line and untold points of view explored and it's just too boring to finish, sorry I won't be buying further into this series which should have been a single book

while I love the story I dingy like the constant changing of points of view and especially to boring ones. still the story was exciting enough to keep me in the series, I do already great power creep from the humans threatening to break my suspension of disbelief

great story but it was way too short to justify the price, should have been free as it's just an add for the series

the author is 8 books I and had told the same story 8 times, it's a story I love but they need to progress the elders plot faster or have a whole book where they don't have to save the earth and just investigate

I am very picky about the quality of my scifi and is on my must buy list as I just coulnt put it down. This narator is one of the best in the business to top it off
