Okay mystery

It was an okay mystery - not as good as the first book - but I really struggled with the transphobia in parts. I felt the time and place was used a shield for so freely airing such prejudices.

The narrator did an extraordinary job which added to the experience and the enjoyment. Do yourself a favour & read this book.

Heart wrenching but breathtakingly beautiful read

The author writes likes a poet. The subject, Sandra Pankhurst, and her story is remarkable. The story made me angry, sad, joyous, frustrated and probably most importantly filled me with of admiration, for Sandra is a phenomenon,a force to be reckoned with. I don't leave reviews of ANYTHING but the story of Sandra Pankhurst was so singular that I felt I had to encourage others to read this book. It will leave it's mark.
