stuck with it through part one but found myself losing focus into part 2 and gave up before I got to part 3. I hate not finishing a book but just too long winded.

Really loved this book. Listened at every opportunity. Narrator brought the characters to life. can't wait to get next two in the series.

The story didn't really go anywhere felt like an extended introduction to the characters and the plot got a bit lost. The listening experience was saved by the great narration.

This is a series that I have been unable to stop listening to/reading since I started just over a week ago. Totally addictive, excellent story telling fast paced with twist and turns that keep going till the very end.

Found myself wanting to give up half way through due to wooden narration! The story itself was a bit slow in places but ended well. Not sure if I will continue with rest in the series.

totally hooked on the Cherringham series and this 2nd full length novel did not disappiont. plenty of twists and turns kept me guessing till the end. Love the friendship between Sarah and Jack and a sprinkling of all the old familiar charecters.
excellent narration by Neil Duugeon kept me listening at every opportunity.

love this series of books and I'm always left disappointed when comes to an end.
the mixture of fantasy , magic and crime fighting is an intoxicating mix.
add in the rich voice of narrator and I am lost from the word go.
