it was so illuminating to hear Frankls philosophy of life and worth after all he's seen and experienced in the concentration camp. in particular, his view that people have worth beyond their ability to work was refreshing.

A mindset that is a great improvement to flakiness

I loved this philosophy as a way of combating the flakiness that is so prevalent today's rich countries.

I thought it was great overall with its practical advice on not stuffing things up for yourself or your cause.

As a bonus, it cleared up a misunderstanding I had that stoicism was about repressing or being unfeeling. Now I don't think it is. it is about discipline and self controls, yes. But it's about reacting appropriately in spite of your feelings when the path you were treading is blocked.

Thanks for writing this and for seeking to live it.
