Story
What if I told you that heroes lived among us, that a US government agency had grown these super powered children in labs, raising them to be super soldiers? What if the technology got out? What if the tech made it all the way to Asia? You probably wouldn't believe me. You would probably would tell me that I was crazy, or that I was some type of conspiracy theorist, that there was no way that a person could turn themselves invisible, or teleport, or morph into a terrible monster. But you would be dead wrong.

Finally Getting Use to New Narrator
Reviewed: 24-11-2019
I’m still missing the Soundbooth Theater team, as they take audiobooks to another level with multi-person narratives... But I’m now finally getting use to the new narrator PJ Ochlan, who does a great job and handles the girls voices well for a guy with a masculine voice...
Another very enjoyable book in the Cherry Blossom series, looking forward to the next book which can be pre-order, really far to see this new option, never miss a book again.

Half of America hates me, and the other half wants me dead. Regardless, I've decided to turn a new leaf. Good guy Writer Gideon? Something like that. But with great power comes great responsibility, and with great power and killer women all around me.... Well, I don't really know a quote for that one. Point is: the Cherry Blossom Girls are changing things up. We're dressed to kill, pumped and primed, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.

How to kill a great audiobook series in one blow... change narrators after four very successful books to a guy who sounds terrible, a real shame...
I’ve really enjoyed this series up until now and first chose to listen to book one because I’ve enjoyed other Soundbooth Theater productions...
Please bring back the Soundbooth Theater team, this series will never be to same without you...

Story
Betrayal cuts deepest when someone you love wields the knife. For Kellik, a once-rising star of Port Gloom's guild of thieves, it also leaves him floating in the bay, bleeding out and without hope or allies. Saved by an urchin and healed by a disgraced saint, Kellick is consumed by a single desire: to find out why his guild master ordered him cut down moments after passing his initiation trial. Burning with injustice, Kellik recruits a number of gorgeous rogues to his side: fallen assassins, dark elf witches, and unnervingly polite necromancers.

Story
Minalan gave up a promising career as a professional warmage to live the quiet life of a village spellmonger in the remote mountain valley of Boval. It was a peaceful, beautiful little fief, far from the dangerous feudal petty squabbles of the Five Duchies, on the world of Callidore. There were cows. Lots of cows. And cheese. For six months things went well: He found a quaint little shop, he befriended the local lord, the village folk loved him, he found a sharp young apprentice to help out, and, best yet, he met a comely young widow with the prettiest eyes.

The Spellmonger is a must Read...
A really enjoyable story, with plenty of action, a great back story, welcome humour and an adult spin on things...
It took a chapter or two to get used to John Lee narrative / voice, but once he started using other voices to create the different characters, I really warmed to him and but the end if the book I’m a new fan of his style and I’m glad that the Spellmonger series has kept him, as it wouldn’t be the same with anyone else.
Highly recommend this book and look forward to listening to the next book in the series...
