What a great book. Well thought out and very well written. The characters were interesting and the story line kept my interest. This book kept you me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was next. It pulls you in from the beginning and keeps you wanting more. I recommend this book to all. I can’t wait to read about Sam Reilly next treasure hunt.

From the best-selling author who completed Robert Jordan's epic Wheel of Time series comes a new original creation that matches anything else in modern fantasy for epic scope, thrilling imagination, superb characters and sheer addictiveness. Return to a planet swept by apocalyptic storms, a world tipping into war as aristocratic families move to control the shard blades and shard plates, ancient artefacts from a past civilisation that can win wars.

So over 120 hours into this story and I cannot get enough. Brandon descriptions of these realms, characters and battles are outstanding. Michael and Kate do an amazing job to bring each character and landscape alive. I cannot wait for the next book and hear the fate of Roshar.
