I thoroughly enjoyed the read. It’s not a finance instructional but an inspirational book on how to break the mould and achieve financial freedom. You both inspire me, Nate sounds like a doll and you’ve amused me, inspired me and sparked change for this family. Thank you

Focussing rather on what I can do is really empowering and reducing frustration and resentment for me. Whilst listening, I was receiving a group SMS’s from my husband and In-laws. My reaction was initially, ‘doesn’t he (my husband) know I’m supposed to be napping, why doesn’t he stop messaging back or start a seperate group chat without me?’ INSTEAD I asked ‘what can I do to stop the interruptions?’ Of course I did the common sense thing and switched to aeroplane mode. I’m embarrassed to see it highlighted that my ‘go to place’ was first the one of blame. This is life changing. Thank you.

Enjoyable book that has really inspired me

I’ve read other books about alcohol reduction etc and they didn’t really help. This book has really changed my perception about alcohol and I’m 4 days sober. Although I don’t consider myself an ‘alcoholic’ I definitely find it hard to say no to just one more each and every time I drink. I do stop at 2 but I’m tired of feeling like alcohol is a toxic friend that’s bad for me. I want to be the boss of my life and this book has helped me to put alcohol in its place.

The F Bomb being dropped regularly meant that I couldn’t listen whilst in the car with the kids. Just unnecessary for a book in my opinion. Aubrey has a nice voice otherwise and great tips. The use of profanities started to turn me off and I just got bogged down as I couldn’t listen as regularly because of the kids.

Finally, I've got a financial education!

Thank you so much Scott for giving me the financial education I missed from my parents and teachers! We lost my 64 yr old dad to cancer two years ago. Mum had to scrounge around for enough money to cremate him, it was devastating to watch. He 'invested' in everything but the stuff you talk about, the sensible, security giving foundation for his family. A truely wonderful man but he taught me what NOT to do. Fortunately, my husband is a gem of a man who built mum a granny flat on our block so she's got a roof and a bloody nice one I have to say! Your book is highly entertaining and educational at the same time. I've read it, listened to it and bought copies for my sisters. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
