always heard about the story of Dorian Gray but never read, I found it pretty dull compared to other novels but Stephen Fry as always was exceptional

A fantastic new take on the science fiction genre, with some really original ideas that come together nicely and have you invested for the entire book. Great performance as well, loved it.

whilst book 3 and 4 haven't been as good as book 2, they have still been enjoyable, a big part thanks to the fantastic narration from Kirby. story and characters are interesting however I feel like the growth of some of the main children has stunted and leaves me frustrated at times with their decisions which go against what they should do/know based on previous encounters, namely Jacob and Emma. overall pleased with the book though and look forward to the next chapter

Great first book in the series, really interesting story and characters. The narrator was pretty average though and didn't pull off the accents that well, however it's worth persisting with since they get a new narrator for the rest of the series who is fantastic

fantastic series, even better than the first book in both story and narrator. The performance from Kirby is really well done. There are some powerful emotive scenes (especially in the wartime loops) and great character development.
